Guildford in Bloom Container Competition

Thank you to the Parent Council who have been working really hard with our pupils to create fantastic plant containers for the Guildford in Bloom Roald Dahl themed container competition. Each year group picked a Roald Dahl book and suggested ideas for the container. The Parent Council volunteers have been busy planting the containers with the children, incorporating as many of their ideas and creations as possible. They look fabulous and really brighten up our school grounds. The judges came last week and were very impressed! We will find out the winners at a special ceremony in Clandon next week. Below are the Year 1 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', Year 3 'The Enormous Crocodile', Year 4 'Fantastic Mr Fox' and Year 5 ;Going Solo' containers. Don't they look wonderful?
