At The Weyfield Primary Academy, our aim is to engage and enrich children’s curiosity and experience in school through digital literacy, ICT and computer science. We will provide all children with the skills, knowledge, understanding and courage to become digitally literate, equipping them for life, within the 21st century classroom. In addition, children will have the knowledge, skills and compassion to engage in the ever growing  online community. 

 In order to prepare pupils for their future learning in Computing, we aim to introduce them to key substantive concepts including:

  • Data and Information
  • Creating Media
  • Computing Systems and Networks
