School Meals

Universal Free School meals Year R to 2

In September 2014, the Government introduced an initiative called Universal Free School Meals. This means that every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receives a free hot school meal. Our catering company are called itsTwelve15.co.uk and they provide nutritionally balanced meals. Please click here to view the the current menu, at this time the children have a choice of 2meals per day and can choose the meal that they would like at registration every morning. Please click on the information, If you require further information on Allergens and Carbohydrate levels. If your child is in years 3,4,5 and 6 and is not eligible for free school meals, you will need to pay for them in advance. The current cost is £2.60 per day. You can pay online, in cash or by cheque (made payable to Surrey County Council). Please see the office if you would like to pay online and they can give you a linkcode for your child so that you can set up an online account.

Packed Lunches

If your child brings a packed lunch, please be aware we are a 'Healthy School' and we ask that packed lunches follow the guidelines below:

• We are a NUT FREE SCHOOL so please ensure that no NUTS of any kind are brought e.g Peanut Butter, Nutella and small bags of Nuts and Raisins etc. We have more than one child with severe nut allergies. Thank you for your understanding.
• Please ensure that your child has a drink (no fizzy drinks)
• If they have a yoghurt or similar you will need to provide a spoon
• Please do not include sweets/chocolates, i.e. Mars Bars, Smarties etc.
• Please ensure that their lunch box is clearly named.
• Please ensure that your child brings a separate drinks bottle (other than their packed lunch drink) which will be kept in the classroom. This bottle should go home daily to be washed and refilled.

Cool Milk

Every child under the age of five is entitled to a free 189ml serving of milk whilst in attendance in a primary school. Children that receive free school meals are also entitled to a free 189ml serving of milk daily. If you are not in receipt of free school meals and would like your child to have a carton of milk every day you can order and pay online at coolmilk.com.
