Hi Everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying the lovely sunshine, it definitely is a very warm April. The seeds that I planted at home are now all sprouting like mad so I will need to think about where they will go very soon. I wonder what the record is for the largest courgette or tomato... maybe I should find out. SMH Well done to everyone who has logged on and successfully submitted work to their teacher. The staff are really enjoying seeing you all working so hard and I think we are now getting on top of the teething problems we had with a few ‘Show My Homework’ accounts. The main thing is that the children need to be logged on as a pupil rather than as a parent. If they are logged on as a parent then they will not be able to access all the activities/ quizzes etc and they will not be able to submit work back to their teachers. If you only have one e mail account to use, use this to log your child on as a pupil and then you can both access the work through this account. We are still here to help you with your queries. If you have not had your issue resolved today, we will be phoning tomorrow to help you. FSM Thank you for your patience with the Governments FSM vouchers. There is a very high demand for these at present so they are taking longer to process. If you have not received them by the end of tomorrow, please contact the school office. Today, the wonderful Mrs Sullivan would like to share some facts about global warming and Venus.... very interesting. We also received a wonderful story from Damian about Gansta Granny, the Queen and Covid 19... it did make us all laugh, especially the Queens speech to the nation. Thank you very much Damian. 😊 Remember to contact us if there is anything you need. Stay safe, Janette McClintock Headteacher
