the lion the witch and the wardrobe, todays story

Hi Everyone!

Thank you to everyone who has been in touch – it’s great to catch up and find out what you have all been up to.

Professor Gabriel has sent in a wonderful clip of him demonstrating how the digestive system works (unfortunately, I haven’t been able to share it). Some of you have been having your own sporting events and others have written poems for Key Workers –

Thankyou keyworkers for making sure

The virus don’t hurt us,

For selflessly going to work and caring for those already hurt.

Thankyou to all the shop assistants for feeding us

And keeping your distance,

I salute you postman and dustbin men too!

My nana would be lonely without my letters and my bin would overflow too!

Thank you keyworkers for all that you do.

-Nice, well done Thomas!

FSM vouchers

The latest FSM vouchers are taking a little longer to distribute. We were able to source the first ones ourselves and therefore the process was a little quicker. Mrs Cole is doing everything she can to ensure she gets these to you as soon as possible. If you have not received your e mail by Thursday, please contact the school office.

Today’s story is The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis, read by the amazing Mr O’Brien. We hope you enjoy it.

Lastly, if you are keen to keep up with learning Spanish, duolingo is a great app to use. It can be found at...   duolingo.com

Keep up the good work of staying at home when possible and following the Government’s social distancing advice. It’s more important than ever to keep it up now. We have started talks to discuss how we might phase children back into school but there are still no definite plans as yet. As soon as I know anything for sure, I will let you all know.

Stay calm, be patient and kind and stay safe,

Janette McClintock
