Daily update 6th May 2020

Hi Everyone,

Staff update:

Thank you all very much for your kind thoughts yesterday. We are still waiting to receive the test results from yesterday, but I have spoken with the member of staff and they are doing ok, getting plenty of rest and being looked after. We will hopefully have news tomorrow and then be able to let you all know what we will do next.

It was really great to hear from some of you this week and the personal challenges you have set yourselves. Louis has smashed his Personal Best time for answering times table questions on Times Table Rockstars, answering 70 questions in less than one second per question – well done Louis! While Uthred has become a green-fingered champion and is really excited this week as his vegetables have started to sprout. That is impressive Uthred, well done!

This weekend includes the special anniversary for VE Day (75 years) and we would very much like to hear what you are planning to do to mark the occasion. FSM:

We are pleased to be able to extend the FSM voucher support for the half term break. Although the Government have not yet agreed to fund the scheme for this week, the TKAT Board have confirmed that we should support our families during the half term holiday. Mrs Cole will order the vouchers in the normal way. Hopefully, we have managed to iron out the teething problems that some of you were experiencing with the scheme but if you are having any difficulties at all redeeming your vouchers please do not hesitate to contact us. We really do not mind.
