Daily update 1st May 2020

Hello Everyone!

The weekend is here. Birch class have been learning all about minibeasts while they are at home. Thomas made a ladybird, he painted some white paper with red paint, cut out some black spots and added some googly eyes! Teddy has made a bumble bee out of a toilet roll and card and cut out wings and antenna. Freddie has made a lovely ladybird. Blake has been looking after the beanstalk he planted at school and is super excited that the beans are starting to grow. Logan has been blowing different sizes of bubbles and Amy is still completing her Joe Wicks workout everyday!

At school this week we have been recycling old crayons into new ones in the shape of Lego men and Lego bricks. If you want to have a go at this at home all you need is some old crayons and a silicone cake mould you can put in the oven. Break the crayons into small pieces and put them into the mould. Cook in the oven for 5 minutes on 250 degrees or until they are melted and then wait until they cool.

Next week Mrs Tott and Mrs Tallant will be back in and on the phones and I will still be here to field queries about Show My Homework. Mrs Knight and Miss Byng will be out and about making deliveries and on the phones checking in on people. Mrs McClintock will be here working on plans for the next few weeks.

I'm looking forward to seeing your beautiful self portraits when you have done them. Have a great weekend - stay safe!
