Daily update 30th April 2020

Hello Everyone! I hope you are all tucked up inside away from the rain. I love thunderstorms - especially when I can cosy up inside and read a good book! Tonight I am going to have a cup of tea and read Dennis' brilliant story! I also thought you would like an update on the school gerbils. Louis and Geoffrey are enjoying their temporary home in my house (although I am not sure how impressed my cat is with the situation!). Louis has been practicing for the rodent Olympics by jumping a foot in the air to climb out of the box I keep them in when they are being cleaned out. Next week I will post a video of his great escape!

Home Learning:

Mrs Badger would like to say a big well done to Reception parents - 88% of you have logged onto Tapestry and have been sharing your activities. A fantastic week on the home learning front this week the percentage of children logging on this week has gone up:

Elm: 64%

Hazel: 55%

Cherry: 54%

Olive: 67%

Pine: 64%

Willow: 60%

Maple: 82%

Walnut: 59%

Maple are in the lead at the moment! Great work Team!! One more day to go - can you be the one who makes your class pull into the lead?

Thank you also to those parents who have not managed to logon with all the issues we have had this week but are still doing homework and lots of other lovely learning!

I am really starting to miss your faces - can you be superstars and draw a self portrait and send it to me? I would love to put them up on my wall so I can remember what you all look like! Can't wait to see them!

Take Care and Stay safe. Looking forward to seeing you soon,
