Message for parent/carers 3rd January 2022

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all enjoyed your break and were able to spend time with friends and family at some point over the holidays.
School is open tomorrow.
As the current wave of COVID cases is still with us, there will need to be some things to consider before we start -
1. No one is to attend the site if they have COVID symptoms (even mildly).
2. All adults and children need to observe the 10 day isolation period even with a negative LFT on the 6th and 7th day as we are unable to meet the other criteria for coming out of isolation early.
3. Children need to have warm clothing for both inside and outdoors. Our rooms will be well ventilated at all times so it will feel much colder. Layers are probably best. If your child needs to wear/bring additional clothing to their normal school uniform, then this is ok.
4. Please notify the school if you have anyone in your household that has had a positive PCR test or LFT in the past 10 days or is experiencing symptoms.  Children can still attend school if they have had close contact but are not symptomatic themselves and have had a negative LFT in the morning.

If you have left a message on our school answering machine or facebook account, we will pick these up in the morning and get back to you as soon as possible. For anything that needs our immediate attention, please e-mail the office on office@weyfield-tkat.org.

Really looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible in the morning.
Thanks again for ongoing support,

Janette McClintock (she/her)
