Update 22nd April 2021

Mufti day tomorrow! St George's Day - wear RED and WHITE

Hi Everyone,

A quick reminder that tomorrow 23.4.21 we will be having a mufti day for St George's Day - wear anything red and white to join in. There are no contributions needed for this.

Easing of COVID restrictions
Over the next term we will be looking at how we can transition back from some of the health and safety restrictions put in place during the last year. One of my greatest concerns is how we prepare the children to have more interactions with children out of their year group. This is something that would have happened very naturally during playtime or assemblies for example, but has not now happened for quite some time. We will look to integrate the children a bit at a time and hope to start this process the week beginning Tuesday 4th May.
What will we do?
We will be increasing the size of each bubble so they incorporate two year groups. This will mean that the children will be able to mix at playtimes/ have more learning together if appropriate and be able to attend assemblies in the hall together. The new bubbles will be
Y1 and 2
Years 3 and 4
Year 5 and 6
YR will remain in a bubble on their own for now.
We will also be able to plan for visits and trips including swimming and to organise after school clubs. Also, we have been given the provisional date of May 17th for residential trips to be able to go ahead so we are also very hopeful that the Y6 will be able to visit Wales in July as planned. 😁

This will be a first and very important step for us. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any comments or concerns.

We have had a number of children accessing inappropriate sites on line lately. Please be very vigilant about what your child can access online and just as importantly, who has access to them!

Stay safe everyone!
