Update

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well and ready for a bit of a break. Make sure you all take some time over half term to enjoy the outdoors and to build some fond memories together. Den building, cooking and muddy walks would be at the top of my list but you may have other exciting things in mind.

Y4 this term have been up to some pretty disgusting science and I needed to share the photos from a few weeks ago when they were looking at how to recreate the digestive system... hmmmm, yep, pretty yucky 😁

Community survey
St. Peter's church is part of a community group commissioning a local survey for the Stoke Ward. The data from the survey will help the community access further funding for the area. Please support them by completing the survey below:

Today we sent information regarding our inclusion on the Safer Schools App. This is a very useful tool for parents, helping you to keep your children safe online. Online safety is currently a major concern for everyone who works with children with rates of online grooming and inappropriate activitiy involving children on the increase. Please take some time to download the app and have a look to see what is on offer. Details of how to do this were put on PIOTA earlier today. The app can also be used by KS2 children and has some child friendly information that they should find useful.

It's been an absolute pleasure to be able to serve the Weyfield community this year, whether that be in school or remotely. Let's all hope for some positive news over the next few weeks about when all chidlren can return to school. I am still hoping for sooner rather than later. 🤞🤞🤞

Have a lovely half term next week, stay safe,
