Update Wednesday 3rd February 2021

Hi Everyone, As you know, it's Children's Mental Health Week so some of us have put together a short video to share the things we like to do to help support our own mental health. Also, there's some great resources on bbc.co.uk like https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/55890449 With all the advice available, it can sometimes be overwhelming so just pick one new thing to try and give it a go. 😁 Let us know how you get on, we'd love to share your experiences. Live session on Google Classroom It was really lovely to see more of the children today, albeit remotely. For those of you who successfully accessed the meet, well done and we hope you enjoyed it as much as the teachers and children here at school. If you were not able to today, don't worry. Miss Hook is working on all the issues raised and we are trying hard to sort them for the meet tomorrow. Some comments from children and staff about today's meet - GREAT - we had 10 children attend the live session. They responded really well. Amazing/great! we had 8 and they were all very good at muting and unmuting themselves, I am very aware I am SO lucky at this point to have the older ones!! It was so lovely to see their faces!!! I am so excited to see all of my friends It was lovely seeing some of you today. 😊You were all fantastic and are learning the hands up and mic on/off very quickly. Thank you for sharing your dragons with me, I look forward to reading your passports later today. See you tomorrow at 9am! Finally, I wanted to pay tribute to Captain Sir Tom Moore who has sadly passed away - let's hope his determined, kind hearted and caring nature lives on in us all. He was a true inspiration for many including myself and his life's achievements should be greatly celebrated. Stay safe, Janette McClintock (she/her) Headteacher
