Hi Everyone,

It has been delightful to see almost all of the children in this week, learning together. Hurray!!! Although routines may seem very unusual during drop off and pick up times, once the children are in their year group bubbles, they are able to be just as we would like them... relaxed, eager to learn and sharing their amazing ideas! We trust that your children have had a very enjoyable week and very much look forward to getting back to it again next week. 😊

Please remember that tomorrow is an INSET day. That means no school for the children. The adults will be brushing up on their phonic skills and knowledge so we can get started with our new phonic programme Read, Write, Inc. Miss Hook and the class teachers have been working hard ensuring the children’s knowledge has been assessed. Read, Wrtie, Inc offers a secure reading foundation even in normal circumstances, and this year will also give us the added bonus of plenty of intervention materials so we can quickly plug the gaps and ensure all the children are back on track as soon as possible.

Thank you all so much for persevering to work with us on the safety measures needed to ensure all children arrive safely. I know that sometimes it can seem a little tedious, but I am hoping to avoid the need for any more school closures so we can carry on enjoying each others company and making progress.

We hope you all have a very enjoyable weekend and look forward to seeing you on Monday!
