Daily update 12th May 2020

Hi Everyone,

Hope all is well and you are keeping busy. It was great to hear about Leilani’s VE day celebrations.  She made Blueberry muffins, Marmite and Cheese Swirls and Ginger Beer from a wartime recipe... well done Leilani! Sounds delicious... just the job for a socially distanced afternoon street party.

At school, we continue to think of ways of keeping the children and staff safe on their return. We are currently waiting for TKAT to confirm a Trust’s response to the Government’s guidelines before being able to put together plans to share with you. I know this must be an unsettling time for many of you as you have no doubt heard a variety of scenarios and opinions concerning the children’s return to school. Please do not worry. I will continue to work with the children’s, our families’ and our staff’s very best interests at the forefront of any plans or decisions made regarding this matter. As soon as I know any more, I will let you all know.

For families where financial circumstances have changed and may now be considered for Free School Meals, please contact the school and we will be able to assist you.

Shhh... This week is Mrs Hook’s birthday. As some of you know, she has been feeling a bit under the weather just lately so I thought if you could send a cheery birthday wish it would really cheer her up. Please include photos or pictures if you can.

Keep staying safe everyone. It will be so good to see all your lovely smiling faces again, whenever that may be. 😊
