Thinking Day - 22nd February

22nd February is World Thinking Day, which is celebrated by Girl Guides and Girl Scouts all round the world. It is an opportunity for Guides and Scouts to appreciate other countries and cultures, and equally increase awareness and sensitivity on global concerns.
Any Rainbows or Brownies are welcome to wear their uniforms to school on Thursday to mark the occasion! Our 1st Weyfield Cub Scouts will all be marking the day on Friday in our usual Scouts' meeting.
Fun fact: Thinking Day takes place on 22nd February each year because it was the birthday of Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting and Guiding!
