Christmas Jumper day and Christmas lunch will be on Thursday 11th December. This is not a mufti day, the children will be invited to wear a Christmas jumper over their usual school uniform. If you would like your child to have a Christmas lunch, the deadline to sign up is tomorrow (3.12.25) ⛄🎅

Pine and Olive have been learning about teeth and the digestion system in their science lessons. Yesterday, both classes took part in an experiment to demonstrate how the digestive system works and how poo is made 🤢💩

Last week, Elm class finished their Great of Fire London topic. We asked the children to build their own scale models of houses which we then used to demonstrate how quickly the fire spread because of the way in which the houses were built. Elm have learnt how houses are built in a different way now to prevent this. The children have absolutely loved this new topic and have demonstrated an excellent understanding 🔥🪣🚒 We have made it very clear not to try this at home!

Our KS2 football teams braved the cold last night and played brilliantly in their matches against Worplesdon. Some of the children in the team had never played a match before and were fantastic! Super proud as always! ⭐️⚽️

🧦 ODD SOCK DAY 🧦 We are taking part in odd sock day today to show that we stand up to bullying! 🚫

To celebrate the start of anti-bullying week, we will be inviting all of the children to wear odd socks on Monday to stand united against bullying. 🤩🧦 Please note this is not a mufti day so the children must remain in school uniform other than their odd socks!

This week, Elm Class have been exploring micro-habitats across the school in search of mini beasts. 🪱🐞 Safe to say that Mrs Bradbury did not like the amount of spiders they found! 😱

Yesterday, we had a visit from the British Transport Police and @sw_railway to teach us all about how to stay safe on the railway. They gave us this special sign to show our commitment to staying safe when out and about in the community 🚂🛤
